By labeling the large buttons on your 6-button
INSTEON KeypadLinc Dimmer, you'll be able to tell at a glance which lights or rooms each button controls. Pre-printed labels are included with every KeypadLinc, but for the ultimate in personalization, order Custom Keypad Buttons, laser-etched replacement buttons for the INSTEON KeypadLinc Dimmer.
Each button is sold separately and is laser-etched with your detailed room description. Smarthome is unable to accept returns on special-order items. For more information, please see our return policy.Please follow these instructions to order your Custom Keypad Buttons:
1. After submitting your order, follow the link at the top of the "thank you" page to go to the Customization Form.
2. After completing this form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your customization order details for your records.
3. Your custom buttons will be created and will arrive via United States Postal Service within 10 to 14 business days.

Customization Process Explained: Laser etching your custom labels onto the Custom Keypad Buttons requires a careful, detailed process to ensure your satisfaction. Buttons are secured on a template and placed into our laser etcher. Your designated text is copied directly from the invoice and inputted manually into the computer, and the laser then etches your buttons with your selected text. The template is removed from the laser etcher, and the buttons are prepped, painted, and set to dry. The buttons are polished to a high shine after any excess paint is removed. All Custom Keypad Buttons go through a careful quality-control process before the buttons are packaged and shipped to your home.

Etching space is limited to 14 characters per line, with a maximum of 2 lines per button
Keys are available in white (seen above). NEW! Now available in the following colors: ivory, almond, grey*, black*, and brown*

* Please note that at this time Black and Brown buttons completely block the light from the LED indicators. Grey buttons allow only enough light to be seen in a darkened room. It is recommended that you use these colors only in locations where the lights/appliances you are controlling are visible from the controlling keypad.
If you haven't yet upgraded to INSTEON switches and keypads, you can also order Large and Small Custom Keypad Buttons for 6-button SmartLabs Design Keypads. The Large Custom Keypad Button can be inserted into the INSTEON KeypadLinc Dimmer.

If you want to install Custom Keypad Buttons in place of the smaller buttons that come with your KeypadLinc, order the Custom-Etched KeypadLinc Small Button for each. If you're planning to order custom-etched buttons for each space on your 6-button or 8-button keypad, you can purchase packs of 6 (4 small and 2 large) or 8 (8 small) custom keypad buttons.
