Essential Info
Fill your entire home with personalized mood lighting for any occasion and easily control that lighting with the KeypadLinc - INSTEON Lamp and Wall Dimmer Control Kit. The kit includes one INSTEON KeypadLinc Dimmer, one INSTEON SwitchLinc Dimmer, and two Dual-Band LampLinc Dimmers. Control lights individually or multiple lights together as "scenes." While each INSTEON device can control an individual light, you can also link the SwitchLinc and the LampLincs to the KeypadLinc to control lights remotely, even from another area of your home. Thanks to the KeypadLinc's status LEDs, you'll be able to see at a glance if connected lights are on or off. You can even link a LampLinc (or both LampLincs) to the SwitchLinc to control a plug-in lamp from any outlet. The LampLinc modules also double as a pair of Access Points - relaying RF and powerline signals to other INSTEON-compatible devices in the home.
How it works
The KeypadLinc and SwitchLinc dimmer replace existing wall switches in your home while your lamps plug into the LampLinc modules. You'll want to locate the keypad where it will be most convenient to control the switch and lamps (usually high traffic areas of a room). The two large buttons on the KeypadLinc control the light that the switch it replaces used to control. The other four buttons are easily programmed to the SwitchLinc and LampLinc devices in minutes using a simple Plug-n-Tap™ method. Now from the KeypadLinc you can control the lights (ON, OFF, DIM, BRIGHT) and see at a glance which lights are On and which lights are Off, regardless of whether they were controlled from the keypad or at the devices directly. INSTEON does all this without having to re-wire your home.

Easy To Install
This kit is so easy to install and set up and yet so affordable, you'll want to automate your entire home with INSTEON-compatible products. Just remove your old switches and install the new KeypadLinc Dimmer and each of the new SwitchLinc Dimmers by attaching the line, load, ground, and neutral wires using the included wire nuts; then plug-in the new Dual-Band LampLinc Dimmers to an available outlet. Following the included instructions, start linking each SwitchLinc and LampLinc module to the KeypadLinc. Adjust brightness levels and ramp rates to create awesome lighting scenes.
Expandability
You can expand on this kit to control your entire home by adding INSTEON dimmers and switches, wire-in / outlet modules, plug-in modules, low-voltage input / output control, and HVAC control to automate lighting and appliances, control the garage door, adjust the temperature and much more. Install HouseLinc 2 - INSTEON Desktop Software on your computer to schedule INSTEON-compatible devices to turn on or off at any specific time or even at sunrise and sunset. For wireless remote control consider using RemoteLinc, which will control INSTEON modules anywhere in and around your home (up to 150 feet away from the nearest LampLinc). Or try SmartLinc - INSTEON Central Controller, which can be linked to any web-enabled mobile device through Wi-Fi and cellular communication, allowing you to control or create timers for INSTEON devices or scenes from inside your home, in the backyard, at work, in the car or on vacation halfway around the world!
