If you're like most people, rising utility costs are hitting you where it hurts the most - your wallet! One way to combat skyrocketing utility bills is to use the RemoteLinc - INSTEON Lamp and Appliance Control Kit, a solution that makes controlling the use of appliances, traditional incandescent light bulbs and new energy efficient light bulbs a breeze. By using the included ApplianceLinc On/Off module along with energy efficient CFL light bulbs and/or LED light bulbs installed in your lamps, you can start saving on your electricity costs immediately. The ApplianceLinc module will also work on all standard appliances and many other non-dimmable devices up to 15 amps. You can control lamps using incandescent bulbs with the included Dual-Band LampLinc Dimmers, which have advanced features like an adjustable ramp rate that slowly brings the lamp on, a preset dim level that stores your preferred choice of 32 brightness levels when turning the lamp on initially, as well as local control, so you can still use the lamp's built-in switch to turn the light on and off. The LampLincs also double as a pair of Access Points - relaying RF and powerline signals to other INSTEON-compatible devices in the home. This allows the included RemoteLinc to wirelessly control each of the ApplianceLinc and LampLinc modules anywhere in and around your home (up to 150 feet away from the nearest LampLinc) - and by hitting the 'ALL OFF' button, you can ensure that any linked lights are off at a moments notice. Note: If you are using LED lights that are very low wattage, you may notice that the LED's do not turn out completely when plugged into an ApplianceLinc. In this case, you’ll need to add to the load with more LED's or higher wattage bulbs - generally higher than a 5 watt load.

Easy to Install
This kit is so easy to install and set up and yet so affordable, you'll want to automate your entire home with INSTEON-compatible products. Following the included instructions, this kit can be set up and linked in less than five minutes using a simple "Plug and Tap" setup process. To control "linked" devices, you can tap one of the RemoteLinc's buttons on or off, or you can hold a button to brighten or dim. Once linked, the RemoteLinc wireless remote control sends out INSTEON signals via radio frequency (RF). The Dual-Band LampLinc modules receive the signal and turn on and off according to how the were programmed. Additionally, the LampLincs double as a pair of Access Points - relaying RF and powerline signals to the ApplianceLinc module and other INSTEON-compatible devices in your home.
Expandability
You can expand on this kit to control your entire home by adding INSTEON dimmers and switches, wire-in / outlet modules, plug-in modules, low-voltage input / output control, and HVAC control to automate lighting and appliances, control the garage door, adjust the temperature and much more. Install HouseLinc 2 - INSTEON Desktop Software on your computer to schedule INSTEON-compatible devices to turn on or off at any specific time or even at sunrise and sunset. Or try SmartLinc - INSTEON Central Controller, which can be linked to any web-enabled mobile device through Wi-Fi and cellular communication, allowing you to control or create timers for INSTEON devices or scenes from inside your home, in the backyard, at work, in the car or on vacation halfway around the world!
