If you've shopped for track lighting fixtures, you know how expensive, complicated and time consuming they can be to install — unless you have the Valo Track Lighting Kit, a true do-it-yourself product designed for the average person to install (no handyman required). Anyone who can use scissors, read instructions and do a little planning can install a complete track lighting kit in only 15 minutes.

All of the parts adhere to most surfaces using adhesive strips (yes ... tape!). No complicated fasteners, power tools or permanent wall modifications are required. Valo can be installed in hundreds of different ways, with few limitations.
The low voltage dimmer/power supply is the heart of the system and is placed in a convenient spot within reach of an outlet or ceiling can. The power strip delivers low-voltage power to the track. This bendable, conformable track can be cut with scissors and adheres instantly. Designer lamp fixtures snap to the track with just one hand. The lamps aim with ease. Simply plug the system in for years of dependable attractive light.
This Valo Track Lighting Kit comes with basic lights only, but if you want to add additional ambience, we offer optional colored snap-on shades in frost, amber, blue, red and metal, each sold separately in sets of 3. These colored, translucent glass-like, high-temperature acrylic shade covers snap directly onto the light fixture and change the rearward projection without affecting the forward light beam. The Valo Track Lighting Kit is also available in white.
In addition to standard plug-in use, the Valo Track Lighing Kit can also be powered from existing lighting receptacles for maximum installation flexibility. A ceiling can and light socket adapter and cover is included with each kit. The familiar adapter screws into standard light bulb sockets located in ceiling cans, mounted fixtures and wall sconces that are normally controlled by wall switches. The Valo Track Lighting Kit can then be plugged in and powered from these locations.
Efficient halogen light bulbs provide even illumination for highlighting objects, art or dark corners. This 60-watt system supplies twice as many watts of usable light than normal incandescent bulbs. By eliminating the need for floor lamps and table lamps, small rooms will seem more spacious. Replacement bulbs are also available.
Complete easy to follow instructionsNote: Valo Track Lighting can be installed on drywall, wood, brick, cinder block, sound board, bulletin board, wallpaper, painted surfaces, office cubicle fabric, metal trim and paneling. Valo is not suitable for outdoors, bathrooms, acoustically-treated ceilings (i.e. "popcorn" ceilings), greasy surfaces or areas where adhesive might have trouble sticking.
If you're an X10 user, you can automate your Valo Track Lighting Kit with any non-dimming X10 receiver. Note: The Valo Lighting Kit uses a low-voltage transformer that produces some electrical noise on the AC line. Some users have reported X10 signal problems when the Valo system is plugged in. Installing a 5-Amp FilterLinc™ Line Filter between the Valo system and the AC lines will prevent the electrical noise from interfering with your home automation system.
