If you have multiple remote devices, such as plasma screens, ceiling projectors or LCDs that are located remotely from your main equipment rack, you may be concerned about getting safe, clean power to them. If you can't run an AC line to these components, Panamax has a solution with its Pro AC Power 3 Bay, which powers remote audio/video equipment by a branch circuit separate from the main system. This protector features a single, recessed, surge-protected AC outlet and 3 bays for signal line modules (sold separately). It provides Pure AC Power™ to any home theater system and eliminates potential grounding problems by creating an Isolated Ground Reference.

Normally, if A/V signals are distributed from the main system to remote equipment, multiple ground references are created, making all equipment susceptible to voltage-differential surge damage. But this module combines AC surge protection with three bays for signal protection modules (sold separately). With modules in the bays, AC and signal lines are bonded together, creating one Isolated Ground Reference for the remote equipment, and thus improving safety and performance. Signal line modules are easy to install. Simply remove the panels and replace them with the appropriate signal line modules, which can be mounted flush with faceplate, half-recess or with full recess. Modules can be removed or depth adjusted with the included puller. Only sending to one component? The Panamax Pro AC Installation Protector features a single recessed AC outlet that fits into a standard dual-gang wall opening, with one bay for a signal line module.
If it's possible to run an AC line from your rack to the remote display location, the AC Twistlock Power Install Filter Kit allows you to power the remote display from your Panamax component at the main rack to deliver safe, clean power to the most noise-sensitive component in the system…the video display.
