Pet lovers and security system owners finally have something to celebrate with the release of Holographic Pet Immune PIR Detectors, the industry's first ever motion detectors to offer genuine pet immunity! Unlike conventional "pet immune" detectors, which simply reduce sensitivity in the lower zones and compromise detection performance, this smart PIR detector uses a patented holographic optical technology that actually sees the difference between humans and animals!

Historically, there has always been a trade off between the false alarm immunity of PIRs and their detection performance. These detectors give you the best of both worlds with a signal processing technique that can differentiate between large unwanted signals (i.e. an electrical noise spike) and small genuine signals (i.e. a slow-moving distant intruder). Plus, with its "beam-shaping" feature that filters and shapes the detection zones, the units are tuned to be more sensitive to humans and less sensitive to animals. Other features include a diffractive lens (as opposed to refractive), which dramatically reduces the chance of false alarms due to sunlight, car headlights, spurious heat sources, etc.
