The Tivoli PAL (Portable Audio Laboratory) AM-FM Radio has a weather-resistant rubberized cabinet coating designed to provide a nonslip grip, making it safe and durable for outdoor use. The PAL uses a geared-down 5:1 ratio analog tuning dial for easy, accurate tuning. The tuner features Automatic Frequency Control (AFC), which locks on to the center of the station for the best reception and lowest distortion, while the adjustable telescoping FM antenna extends and rotates for improved FM reception. A built-in AM antenna is also included. The provided headphone jack also acts as a recording output or to use the PAL as a high-quality outboard tuner. Use the auxiliary input to connect a portable CD player, MP3 player or other device.
