2 of the 5 I ordered failed right out of the box. I live close enough to the Irvine store that it was no problem to have them replaced. If that's consistent with other purchases then you have a quality control problem. Now that I have a working set, I love them. The light is soft and comfortable where I wanted an accent. The bulbs look great on or off. I absolutely love the fact that I'm getting this level of comfort and luxury for pennies a year.

Bulb is fine, but has low light output. Akin to a strong night light. For day to day use, I would select a bulb with more LEDs/greater lumens.

Probably fine for security applications, where light is on all night and bright isn't necessary.

Not bright enough. It would be good if you put the watt equivlent on your page. I would say this is like a 5W bulb.

I'm impressed with the quality. The light bulb remained cool for hours of use. I plan to re-order additional bulbs.

good heat reducing light bulb. Not especially bright.

I am an early adopter. I like the concept of using very little wattage for my lighting. The LED technology is interesing, but not really there yet. It is good for accent only and nightlighting. Smarthome really did a great job replacing a broken bulb and shipped really quick.

Bulb itself is much dimmer than I thought it would be. I expected it to be a dim bulb, but not quite like this.
