World's First INSTEON-Compatible Outlet Now Shipping
Provides Built-in, Whole-House Custom Remote Control
Irvine, CA -- January 8, 2008 -- As part of its growing line of over 170 INSTEON-compatible products, SmartLabs, Inc. announces the launch of its new OutletLinc, the world's first INSTEON-compatible electrical outlet. This Decora-style receptacle replaces a standard outlet for easy, INSTEON control of almost any plug-in light or appliance.
Controllable from any INSTEON-compatible wired or wireless controller, the INSTEON Remote-Control Outlet inserts easily into any X10 network. OutletLinc is a duplex receptacle with one INSTEON-controllable outlet and one that is always on. Its controlled outlet is powered by a 15-amp relay, which is powerful enough to control most appliances and can be included in lighting scenes in seconds. Available in white, ivory, almond, and black, the OutletLinc blends in seamlessly with both an INSTEON network and any home d�cor.
